Set your currency

Show prices in your own currency — on menu cards, in the cart, and in the AI's answers.

Your menu can price in rupees, euros, yen, dirhams — whatever you charge in. One setting covers everything: the diner's menu cards, the cart, your dashboard, and the prices the AI quotes in chat.

How it works

  1. Open Settings → Profile and pick your currency from the selector.
  2. Save. All prices display in that currency immediately — with the right symbol, grouping, and decimals.

Good to know

  • Prices aren't converted. Changing the currency changes the label, not the numbers — a 450 item shows as ₹450 or $450 depending on the setting. Set the currency before you enter prices.
  • Decimals follow the currency. Dollars take two decimal places, yen take none — the price fields enforce this, so you can't save ¥1,200.50.
  • One currency per restaurant, applied to every item.
  • Your subscription is separate. The plan you pay AskFoodie is billed in its own currency via Stripe; this setting only affects your menu.
