Loyalty & specials
Specials & deals
Promote happy hours, weekly deals, and your story — diners browse them in the chat.
Specials are simple promo cards — "Half-price oysters on Tuesdays", "Live music Fridays" — that diners browse from their chat's deals page. Pure announcements: no tracking, no redemption, nothing to honour. For rewards that diners collect, use a loyalty punch-card instead.
How it works
- Open Specials in the sidebar and tap Add.
- Give the special a title, a short description, and (optionally) a photo.
- Save — it's live in the diners' deals page immediately.
- Drag cards to reorder them; the diner sees them in your order.
What diners see
In the chat header, diners open Deals & highlights — your specials listed alongside your punch-card (if you run one). That's why both live under the one Specials page for you: diners experience them as one thing.
Good to know
- Specials promise nothing, so any team member can add or edit them — unlike punch-card terms, which are manager-only.
- Keep them current. There's no end date on a special; delete or edit a card when the promo ends so diners don't ask for last month's deal.
- A special is not a menu item. If something can be ordered, put it on the menu (a serving time handles "only 5–7 PM"); use a special to announce it.
